Iraq calling: 09/01/2004 - 10/01/2004

http://phlebotomus.blogspot.com/2004_09_01_archive.html

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Thursday, September 30, 2004. The moon was a pumpkin orange as I walked back from chow this evening. It must be all the dust in the air. The dust has been blowing for the last few days. We wash the tables on the patio in the morning and half an hour later the have a layer of fine brown talc. Keeping things clean is impossible. Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Thursday, September 23, 2004. I read Allawi's speech. Monday, September 20, 2004. Saturday, September 18, 2004. I didn't nee...

http://phlebotomus.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Monday, April 25, 2005. This morning at church we sent off our Pastor's daughter, who will soon be going to Iraq with the Air Force. Yesterday our family support group threw a party at a local casino. I couldn't make it because its a little nuts in my house now. Our new daughter was born on April 13th and I'm taking a few weeks off from work to help out. We need to reach a new equilibrium with 5 kids. Some blogs I've been reading this week are Major K. Escorts circled our base.

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Sunday, October 31, 2004. We were lucky to fly over Lake Tharthar. The largest body of water in Iraq. Tharthar was created by flooding a large basin containing a much smaller salt lake with flood waters from the Tigris River. When we were out over the lake, all we could see in every direction was water. I could have been flying over the North Atlantic, the scene was the same. On a different note, I was interviewed. Surf's up in Iraq - Western shore of Lake Tharthar. This paper ...

http://phlebotomus.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Monday, June 13, 2005. Just a short entry. I'm finding it impossible to keep things up on this blog. I'll just write when I can. I attended a Memorial Day ceremony in our town and talked with our Congressional representative Rob Simmons. He's been a great supporter of the troops and I thanked him for that. I keep up with the goings on in Iraq through the Army publications off the MNC-I website. The other day I found the 81st Brigade's newletter, the Desert Raven.

Iraq calling: 08/01/2004 - 09/01/2004

http://phlebotomus.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Sunday, August 29, 2004. I'm back at my base after traveling around the country for the past 4 days. Thursday night I was visiting one of our units at their base near Baghdad. One of the Company Commanders was going to give me a ride to my trailer. The truck we were going to leave in ended up having a dead battery. After our meeting we convoyed south to another base near the ruins of Babylon. The most spectacular part of the ruins was the remains of the Ishtar gate. The gla...

Thoughts about life, death, war, peace and everything in between - from an army wife whose husband is on his second deployment in Iraq. Sunday, February 06, 2005. ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. I’ve talked to my husband about this, if it would be better if he didn’t come home, if it would be too hard then to face the patrols, the raids, the IEDs, the fighting. After he’s worn civilian clothing again and can eat a meal without a rifle by his side, will it be too much to put his desert boots back on?

Thoughts about life, death, war, peace and everything in between - from an army wife whose husband is on his second deployment in Iraq. Wednesday, December 29, 2004. The soldiers were just doing their job, but still the Americans just lost one more friend and they can't afford that loss. And this artist wasn't a former Saddam loyalist or Baath party member. Instead, he was reacting as a father and as an innocent man. Posted by Strawberry Fields at 3:06 AM. Monday, December 20, 2004. We have been talking ...

Thoughts about life, death, war, peace and everything in between - from an army wife whose husband is on his second deployment in Iraq. Friday, December 03, 2004. LEAVING ON A JET PLANE. This will be my last entry before I leave for Iraq. My next posting will likely be in about two weeks when I am in country, as they say in the military. The future of the U.S. and Iraq are now inextricably tied. And my fortunes are now also connected to Iraq. So here I go. Posted by Strawberry Fields at 10:26 AM.

Of course, there is still more work ahead. But I don't want to focus on that now as I'm sure that will be a subject for future postings. I just want to concentrate on the positive. Besides, whatever obstacles are presented in the future, Iraqis can take strength from what they witnessed on election day. Posted by Strawberry Fields at 11:43 AM.

Iraq calling

Life of a soldier in Iraq. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Sunset near Ad Diwaniyah. In the coming year more Iraqi security forces will come on line and take over more responsibility. The economy will continue to expand and the insurgency will become increasingly irrelevant and as a result weaker. We will have at least some troops in Iraq for many years to come. Monday, October 10, 2005. Saturday, October 08, 2005. I've been following developments in Iraq closely. I'm confident that progess is happening...

Phlebotomy

Sunday, July 26, 2009. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. My name is Breacella. I am a graduate from Robert Morris College, C/O 2002. I completed my Professional Diploma in Medical Assisting which also included Phlebotomy. I started as a Medical Assistant for the first 4years after school. Later, in December of 2006, I began working as a full-time Phlebotomist. There I realized that I really enjoy performing venipuncture. And processing blood. Working for one of the largest. Phlebotomy Certification

How To Become A Phlebotomist. How To Become A Pharmacy Technician. Phlebotomy certification is a part of the huge healthcare industry that most people don't talk about. That may be because most of these experts are working silently, though they are ubiquitous. So, who are phlebotomists actually? These are people who are trained and qualified to draw blood from patients. This could be for some kind of testing, or it could be part of a blood donation. So, what will you be doing when you are a phlebotomist?
