Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Newt: 10 months later! In August 2011 we met a little six week old Pomeranian named Newt. At the end of August, we brought Newt to see Dr. Planté at Centre Veterinaire DMV. Dr Planté (Surgeon), Roz and Newt, Dr. Kent and the Assisting Surgeon. Newt the day after his surgery. Hopeful Hearts Dog Rescue: Angel.
http://hopefulheartsdogrescue.blogspot.com/2012/11/angel.html
Thursday, November 22, 2012. Last week you may have seen this face being shared around Facebook. Thanks to one person who refused to give up on finding a safe haven, this dog is safe. Angel is currently in Kuujjuarapik, PQ. With a broken leg, no home, and no food, Angel's time was running out. A resident in Kuujjuarapik took to Facebook and began working tirelessly to help Angel, contacting Wendy Daniels of 106.9 THE BEAR. After some feverish work, things began to fall into place:. Monday, May 28, 2012. Dog of the Week: Cindy Lou Who! You may remember this face from last month when Miss Cindy Lou Who escaped from her backyard and spent almost a week on the lam. Her rescue was a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end, and although she suffered from a broken femur. I think we can all agree that it could have been much, much worse. If you have room in your heart and home to give Cindy Lou Who the forever home she has been waiting for, please email adopting@hopefulhearts.ca.
