In late January 2010, New England Border Collie Rescue took in 4 border collies from a family that could no longer care for them. Thursday, July 1, 2010. A July Day in Vermont. We had a wonderul super fun time seeing handsome, big brudda Dru in beautiful Vermont! Monday, May 31, 2010. To celebrate a holiday, we were lucky enough to have a playdate with Leelah Bean's brudda, Dandelion Denali. Here are some pictures with my injected commentary. Thanks to Sharon for having us over! We had SUCH a good time! The pictures are in reverse of the day and so this one is DD basically crashing out over his toy after over an hour of intense playing. Monday, November 1, 2010. Here are some pics from Leelah Bean's second lesson on sheep. You will notice some trends like, LB's feet are often all in the air. That's because she's running around being a silly puppy and not thinking about her job. That's ok, she's young. Luckily I was NOT able to get a picture of her eating sheep crap. She's a big fan. This is a real grown up border collie herding. Leelah Bean thinks she's awesome. So do I. Here she is pretending that she knows what she's doing.

Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Life in Leelah Land. Today we went for a walk in a nearby field. The first excitement was when we walked by some cows. Leelah Bean huffed and puffed and tried to blow them all down but when that didn't work she just walked away. Indeed, she would not make a good wolf. However, she would like to remind everyone of her sassy pants. We walked through a beautiful field of sunflowers (sorry Leelah Bean but it's not always all about you). Because her brothers couldn't find her.
