Friday, November 20, 2009. Since everyone got off for Thanksgiving this year, none of us will be in Charleston so we decided to have our own little early celebration at Melrose. It was quite the success:. The recipe is here:. Virginia Willis' Chcolate Pecan Tart. 8 oz semi sweet chocolate chips. 1 9 inch tart crust, unbaked. 3 eggs, lightly beaten. 3/4 cup of dark corn syrup. 3/4 cup of granulated sugar. 2 Tablespoon (1/4 stick) butter, melted. 1 tsp pure vanilla extract. 2 cups chopped pecans.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. The best things that come out of my kitchen never start with recipes or a thorough grocery store run. I just assembled this tonight for dinner, and it was delightful. By using scallopini, there is more surface area for the curry, and a great crispy crust. I have started to incorporate dry spices into my cooking and they are a great, almost calorie-free way to flavor up healthy dishes. Super Healthy Curry Chicken on Salad. 2 TBS hot red curry powder. 1 tsp veg or canola oil.
