Feed the Mommy——Lentils Soup. I like to try cooking new stuffs when it specifically being introduced as quick and simple cooking! That's what a lazy person needs. I've been eyeing on lentils for a while but never bought them until I read that red lentils cook pretty fast. FAST, okay I need that. So I make a mental note to get them during one of my groceries trip and hence the experiments started. First, I try lentils soup. Lentil soup with toast. Appletaart in Winkel 43. This is one of the cafe I've researched in year 2013 and didn't get to go. The travellers seem to rave about the appletaart. One even mentioned that he went to Amsterdam for many times, and he visited Winkel 43. For appletaart every single trip. Hm. Sounds like a must try to me. We went there in the morning before we made our way to Keukenhof. It was super cloudy and cold. And the cafe was already full, with only one small little table out there. Appletaart with whipped cream.

A little life in a big country. One on One classes. Last weekend scheduled the White Sands Balloon festival. A smaller version than the Albuquerque one, with only a couple of balloons, but with the beautiful settings of White Sands near Alamagordo.
