honeysuckle dreams: To Infinity and beyond!!!
http://honeysucklewhispers.blogspot.com/2006/02/to-infinity-and-beyond.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2006. To Infinity and beyond! What a spectacular night I had last night! Oh boy, last night we did and what a site we got to see! We had a lot of fun plotting the stars on a chart, finding the right location and getting the telescope on it. It was a little tricky since we're still getting the hang of using the telescope but when we finally found it and had it dead center in our eyepiece, we were richly rewarded for the hard work. Equatorial diameter 120,536 kilometers (74,898 miles)...

honeysuckle dreams: NASCAR not just for the boys anymore!!!
http://honeysucklewhispers.blogspot.com/2006/02/nascar-not-just-for-boys-anymore.html
Sunday, February 19, 2006. NASCAR not just for the boys anymore! According to an ESPN Sports Poll, 42% of the NASCAR fans are women! My obsession with this sport is thanks to my boyfriend and his evil playstation game. I was told as soon as I picked a driver I'd be hooked and boy were they right! So, coutdown to green is on and we're at 2 hours and 13 minutes until Boogity Boo...

Monday, March 27, 2006. On the History and Story of Alexander Supertramp. Jon Krakauer’s Into The Wild. Is both history and a story. It is history, because it includes a hypothesis predicated on documented and verifiable evidence. Being recent history, Krakauer was able to record the testimony of eyewitnesses who were able to present their own independent understanding of the events. Still, Into The Wild. But Into The Wild. And James McManus’ Positively Fifth Street. Are both highly popularized books who...

honeysuckle dreams: February 2006
http://honeysucklewhispers.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2006. It all begins with Fire. A constantly burning flame was a regular fixture throughout Greece. It usually graced the altars of the Greek gods. To find some more information and it was fascinating. Although torch design and construction vary from year to year, the torch must always contain the same ba...
