Thursday, 18 October 2012. Is anybody else struggling with the change in seasons? The shorter days are meaning less time for taking photos. I had to reach back a bit in the archives to the middle of August. I took this photo of the boys at sunset with my iPhone. It's one in an upcoming series I will be posting. Have a great weekend! Thanks for linking up. A reminder of the rules:. 1 The picture has to be taken by you (and feel free to have more than one shot in your post! You can leave a response. 19 Oct...

Thursday, 1 November 2012. I haven't taken many photos lately, so instead this week I thought I'd share a selection of my favourite shots from a recent wedding. It was a beautiful wedding on a day with iffy weather. It rained for a bit, then the sun came out just in time for photos and then under threatening clouds, a beautiful double rainbow appeared. It was a pretty fabulous and inspiring day. Thank you Emily and Jon! It was without a doubt one of my favourite weddings. I can't wait to see your photos.

Balancing the Dream: March 2012
http://balancingthedream.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 30, 2012. Living in the body of a 70 pound Goldendoodle with 5 pounds of hair can get quite uncomfortable this time of year! Therefore, it's time for the dreaded hair cut! I say "dreaded" because not only is it sad to see those beautiful golden 4 inch curls fall to the ground, I also shed a tear after the SECOND HOUR of still cutting! You heard me correctly! Max is nice and soft and cuddly, but VERY VERY HOT! ISO 125, 1/1250sec at f/1.4, 50mm 1.4 lens. Julia still doesn't recognize him!

Balancing the Dream: May 2012

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Lime green seems to be my new favorite color these days! It has Spring/Summer written all over it! It will work as an accent in almost any decor, and looks especially fantastic on the front porch! I have been gushing over apple wreaths this season and have finally attempted one of my own! It was super easy to make! All you need it a grapevine wreath, artifical apples, greenery of some sort, and a few sprigs of color! Not too shabby for less than 20 bucks! Friday, May 25, 2012.

Balancing the Dream: April 2012
http://balancingthedream.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 27, 2012. Everyone knows toddlers are difficult to photograph. With my experience, they either take no direction, do the opposite of what you ask, or even run from the camera! Well, I do believe I have figured out a solution to this problem. It's very simple! Place them in an environment where they are having fun, being themselves. They will pay no attention to you, therefore you will be able to get amazing photos of their NATURAL self! Today Julia and Daddy K played on a trampoline! Posted...
