Sowa Rigpa Clinic and Village Life. Of the nearby village Tangze serves as Amchi or Tibetan Sowa-Rigpa physician. Phuktal Gonpa maintains a traditional Tibetan medical clinic serving the local community. An on-site Amchi (Tibetan traditional physician) gives consultations and distributes natural Sowa Rigpa medications, many of which are prepared at the monastery.
