SAARLAMANDER: April 2007
http://saarlamander.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Too old to die young.

Too old to die young.

Backslider's Wine: I've Been Waiting On Something Like This For A While, Actually...
http://backsliderswine.blogspot.com/2005/12/ive-been-waiting-on-something-like.html
Random musings on religion, politics, sex, drugs, rock and roll and other esoteric topics from a musician/writer with a philosophical bent, an ego to stroke and too much time on his hands. Drop a line at backslider108@hotmail.com. Thursday, December 15, 2005. I've Been Waiting On Something Like This For A While, Actually. If anyone asks, I hope Santa brings me this. For Christmas. Just like Monty Python's. Responsible for my love of philosophy. A childhood love of comic books and Doctor Who. I Dont Get It.

Unlikely Science: January 2008
http://nullbloggers.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Blurb from the brains behind Null Hypothesis, the Journal of Unlikely Science. Monday, 21 January 2008. Body Part Printing. No, really. When I first heard about 3D printers. I was excited. The idea of drawing out things and then seeing them built up out of nothing is like something out of Star-Trek. Needless to say, they are somewhat out of my price range for a desk-top item. Skin, bone, and even more complex internal organs can apparently be printed. Mark appears on top journalism show. I wonder whether...

Building Batman: Fermi Problems and Batman
http://buildingbatman.blogspot.com/2009/06/fermi-problems-and-batman.html
Fermi Problems and Batman. Batman is the world's greatest detective. And so it's time that I start to develop detective skills but how to start? Do I start with a criminology text book or try to master forensics or just buy a fingerprint kit? Fermi problems aren't Holmesian deduction. It's an estimating technique that will allow us to make good "guesses" very quickly and with very little information about things which would seem impossible to compute by people who have never learned this. Some of the stu...

Get Your Patchouli Stink Offa My Blog. Sunday, August 17, 2008. Holy Super Blogger, Batman! I've decided that my vast beauty. Are just not enough in this life: I also want to save the world. "But Meg," you say, "you have already saved me. Isn't that worth something? He says. If only there were a simpler way to fix everything without exerting too much energy. I know! Why can't I just have some magnificently powerful, useful, and cool genetic anomaly? Maybe just laser vision. Last week I was bitten. I don'...

CONvergence ramp-up season is officially here. - Chebutykin's Ruminations
http://chebutykin.livejournal.com/896008.html
CONvergence ramp-up season is officially here. Mar 27th, 2008 at 6:41 PM. I just sent my novel-length notes (in three separate parts) to Programming, which should list me on a thoroughly unreasonable amount of panels and events. Why? Because I love it. I love CONvergence. I love planning events. And I am comfortable with geeking out in front of a live audience for days at a time. If you're going to CONvergence and want to help out, sign up to do a panel (or eight)! Step 2) Oggle the pretty list. I hear s...

A diario.
