Travel to Live : Live to Travel. September 29, 2013. Scotland: Day 3–Trip to the Isles of Mull and Iona. Posted by mytraveltidbits under by Karen. Once we made it to the other end of the island we waited in line for the ferry to Iona. After we landed on Iona we immediately found a place to eat lunch and then we were off to explore the small island with the ruins of a Benedictine Nunnery along with the Iona Abbey. The abbey did fall somewhat into ruins but was restored at the beginning of the 20th century.
