Chase and Amy: April 2015
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 20. So There Was a Time. When I broke my foot. It isn't even a good story; toys on the floor, trying to keep Gavin from taking a head dive off a chair led to said broken foot. Whoever invented crutches and made them the standard fare for lower extremity injuries must not have had any nerve sensations in their arms. Scooters are much better and by the time said foot is done healing my right leg will be twice the size as my left! Perspective is an interesting thing. Saturday, April 4. I am so...

Chase and Amy: December 2014
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 15. I think Gingerbread houses are neat, but not neat enough in this instance to warrant dealing with crumbly graham crackers that won't stay glued together. So we did trees instead. Short, sweet, fun with no "glue" involved. Lauren thought it was "SO FUN MOMMY! I'll call it a win! Gavin just ate his. :). Saturday, December 13. Lessons from the Vacuum Salesman. He asked questions about how long we'd been married, school and such. He made a comment that made me think he was sad that h...

Chase and Amy: August 2015
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 10. Fun at the Fair. We had a great time at the fair on Saturday. Lauren loved the rides and Gavin loved the tractors! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Every time she hears the dryer open Lauren runs in and holds her arms up ready for me to hand her laundry from the washer. I hand her every little piece and she throws it into the dryer making sure nothing is hanging out. When I dust she needs a rag too and follows right behind me and mimics every move I make. When she's trying to get my attenti...

http://paxvista.blogspot.com/2012/09/raspberry-pickingyummy.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. I’m always on the lookout for new adventures for the family. In some ways, moving has been fine, in other ways it’s been hard. So we’ve tried to create new things for the kids to do and remember and to try out. This is one of those adventures! Raspberry picking. This is hard work and scratchy work! Bob was all scratched up because he just went for it! His bucket was almost full. It was worth it though! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Cason’s...

Chase and Amy: Grocery Shopping Ban
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2015/07/grocery-shopping-ban.html
Wednesday, July 22. Lately, I have two kiddos that detest grocery shopping. It used to be a mildly pleasant experience, but after the last two shopping trips, I don't ever want to show my face in Walmart or Macey's again! Gavin threw an all-out, hysterical fit at Walmart a few days ago. I don't know why he has such an aversion to riding in the cart, but I strapped him in and made him. Holy. Cow! Maybe not going shopping for so long while my foot was broken did something to their shopping hatred. Lauren s...

Chase and Amy: Wedding Cake
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2015/07/wedding-cake.html
Sunday, July 19. A girl in my sister's ward was getting married and looking for someone to make the wedding cake. I was happy to get another shot at a cheesecake wedding cake! I learned a few things from the last one so this went together much easier. I thought it turned out pretty decent, even though the topper they picked was not my favorite. July 23, 2015 at 8:37 AM. Chase and Amy: November 2014
http://chaseandamy.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 19. I said goodbye to primary on Sunday. It made me sad. I loved primary. it was happy, simple, and fun. The saying " All I need to know I learned in Primary" is true; Heavenly Father, Jesus, Prayer, Faith, Families and choosing the right. It was my turn for sharing time. After the lesson, starting to close by bearing my testimony I said I was sad. One cute five year old boy looked up at me concerned and asked, "Why? Why are you sad? Oh, that is sad.". Mmm no. but it will be okay!

Paxman's: September 2012
http://paxvista.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. Fall Pictures–Spann Family Cousins. Fall in Utah is gorgeous! It doesn’t last long, but it’s pretty while it lasts! Rain, Temple Dedication. I love how my kids still get excited if it rains. We had so little rain in Phoenix that it was always a novelty. Thankfully that hasn’t worn off. They still love it and run outside to play in it! Raspberry picking. This is hard work and scratchy work! Bob was all scratched up because he just went for it! The boys did great in scouts over ...
