wandering seals: December 2013
http://wanderingseals.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Christmas, this year (2013). Did y"all have an enjoyable Christmas? Ours was enjoyable. We saw a pretty hilarious Christmas pageant at church (it was no Best Christmas Pageant Ever, but still.). There were serious philosophical discussions about Santa's ability to consume so many cookies (still unresolved, ahem). The pups got too many gifts and ate a lot of candy. Business as usual around here, I suppose. Links to this post. Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Sure, why not? The stuff...

wandering seals: January 2014
http://wanderingseals.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 26, 2014. We ski (in connecticut). And by "we" I mean everyone in the family except me. I am not really a skier and I don't feel bad about it; but, I lounge in a ski hut like a champ. Last weekend, we wandered over to New Hartford, Connecticut to Ski Sundown. Papa and the boys hadn't yet skied the snows of our own state, so we thought it might be worth the try. It was good fun. Everyone skied at least one blue trail, and I drank a lot of coffee. Which is not a bad thing at all. The Elegan...

wandering seals: August 2012
http://wanderingseals.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. After our trip to California we were busy doing all sorts of things. We picked plums from our plum tree and canned it (because that's the kind of people we are.the throw it in a jar and see how it tastes, kind). There were lots of trips to the playground. My mom bought the boys a playground set thing. Papa thought it could be built in a day; much like Rome, that was not the case. We are still working on it. It might get built by the middle of fall? And the biggest news of all?

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Out with the old. So we had a good year and a great Christmas. There was some sickness in the house on Christmas day but everyone had a good time. Our year was full of changes. A finished degree here, a new job there, kids starting new grades and learning new things. So with a great year under wraps, we are looking forward to an awesome 2015! Wednesday, August 28, 2013. While this blog might lead you to believe that nothing has happened with us this year, nothing could be farther from the truth. We have been busy; but, well, now we can't go back and revisit things that we did this year. But since today is a truly auspicious day, there's seems to be no better time to start things off. First day of school! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is a Flickr badge showing public photos from wandering seals. Make your own badge here.

wandering seals: May 2012
http://wanderingseals.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 12, 2012. I celebrated another birthday today. We did it with style and panache (and presents! And a fair amount of nerdification, because that, my friends, it how we roll. After gifts and singing, we went to a library book sale in New London, Connecticut. I am not going to lie, finding a pickling book for $1 pretty much made it worth the trip there for me, it was like the New London Public Library gave me a birthday gift (with a minimal service charge). It was a great day. So Seal Pup 1...

Sunday, April 8, 2012. Links to this post. Friday, April 6, 2012. Back in the saddle, again. I am taking a few classes at RISD again this semester, Color Theory and Photographic Lighting II. Both classes have been rewarding; but, the lighting class allows me to have a nice take-away, namely studio portraits. Here are a few of my favorites:. As always, more to view in flickr. You might notice that SP 1.0 is not pictured, he had baseball practice (it's his "thing"). Links to this post. 4) The tooth was at ...

wandering seals: where did the year go?
http://wanderingseals.blogspot.com/2014/12/where-did-year-go.html
Friday, December 12, 2014. Where did the year go? We have made a major discovery this year. We are the busiest people on the planet. So that's all I can offer about why there were no updates since January, it was not for a lack of doing things, surely. And it wasn't for a lack of having fun and hilarious times (we are experts at that! So apologies for my neglect of blog management. We'll (that's a royal pronoun, by the way) be better about it 2015.
