How do you make stained glass? In the same way that it has been made since medieval times. There have been some developments of course - electricity has helped for operating the kiln, and having gas available for heating the copper tip of my soldering iron saves having to spark up a brazier every day. but the principles are exactly the same. What we've been up to, and stuff. The most exciting event recently was an emergency repair at the famous Sudeley Castle, near Winchcombe in Gloucestershire. We received a call a few weeks ago requesting that we go and look at some work which 'probably' needed carrying out on some of the hundreds of leaded lights at the castle.
