Adventures in Fatherland: We both heard it, I swear!
http://daddysbabygirls.blogspot.com/2008/06/we-both-heard-it-i-swear.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2008. We both heard it, I swear! Of course it sounded more like that all too familiar video of the dog saying "I wah woo", but she said it! If Gina wasn't there to hear it no one would believe me.not even her! It damn near made me cry. Now do I really think she knew what she was saying? No, I'm sure she was just mimicking me. No way. She said she loved me and that's that! This comment has been removed by a blog administrator. Tue Dec 30, 01:03:00 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Adventures in Fatherland: March 2008
http://daddysbabygirls.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. Big Daddy - December 4, 1932 - March 3, 2008. Our family has suffered a great, sad and unfortunate loss. Big Daddy, the girls' grandpa passed away on Monday, the 3rd of March, from.we don't know exactly. Some sort of infection is suspected but we don't know for sure. And he really loved his grand babies. Almost everyone of his friends I spoke with at the services mentioned how much he enjoyed and loved and couldn't wait to see the girls. For me, he was a wonderful Father-in-law&...

Adventures in Fatherland: April 2007
http://daddysbabygirls.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 06, 2007. Does anyone remember laughter? The girls are both giggling. It is one of the most beautiful sounds ever. Pure unabashed and uncontrolable laughter. I can't explain fully to those of you that don't have children.I didn't know it til this week.but it is something that everyone should experience. Yesterday made 17 weeks. I know, I know.it's been a very long time since I've posted anything. I've had great intentions but then I sit down to write and the girls demand attention. But they...

Adventures in Fatherland: December 2006
http://daddysbabygirls.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 31, 2006. A Truly Happy New Year. 2006 has turned out to be one of the best of my life. Now that I think about it with the twins and buying the house in Monte Rio, it's probably been THE biggest for sure. And here I sit writing this and I don't feel that much different than I did last year at this time.maybe a bit more tired due to the now 3AM feedings, but overall very much the same. Wednesday, December 20, 2006. What's in a name? How did we come up with the names? The Grandparents -1 c...

Adventures in Fatherland: February 2007
http://daddysbabygirls.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Chances are, if you're reading this blog you already know what I do for a living. I thought I was prepared having walked dogs for 10 years, but no. Dog poop may have taken the edge off but there is definitely a difference in.scent. Not to mention texture! Maybe if we got the girls on some sort of kibble.really good kibble, of course. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. It seems the only thing that changes is what's on the television. New things they're doing:. I live and work in one...

Kitchen Chronicles of a Non-Foodie: August 2011
http://kitchenchronicle.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Kitchen Chronicles of a Non-Foodie. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Creamy Pasta with Peas. Actually calls for a "kid" version and an "adult" version, with the former omitting the pine nuts and arugula. Why? My kids eat both of those things, and they do so because I've never made kid versions of any dish. They eat what the grownups eat at dinner, and as a result they don't need. Creamy Pasta with Peas. Coarse salt and ground pepper. 1 lb farfalle pasta. 1 package (10 ounces) frozen green peas. 1 cup heavy cream.

Kitchen Chronicles of a Non-Foodie: August 2010
http://kitchenchronicle.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Kitchen Chronicles of a Non-Foodie. Saturday, August 21, 2010. Pasta with Steak and Arugula. Nothing like building a new house to keep you from blogging. Even in all the chaos that is my life right now, I have actually been cooking. Well, not much in the past few weeks as most of my kitchen paraphernalia is packed up in boxes. But, I've been saving some recipes that I've been meaning to post. So, that takes an entire category of pasta sauces off the menu. Cream sauces, you say? Of course, Giada. Inspired...
