Всё в твоих руках. Получение VID and PID для собственных USB-проектов. Опубликовано: 17 Апр 2015. Энтузиасту-разработчику довольно трудно выпустить "настоящее" USB-устройство. Нет, дело вовсе не в трудоемкости создания, а в том, что "вход" на рынок для производителя стоит около 5000 USD. Этот "взнос" необходимо заплатить разработчикам стандарта USB для получения так называемого Vendor ID. Каждое USB-устройство имеет уникальный идентификатор - пару VID/PID. VID - это Vendor ID, а PID - Product ID.

I dont need a USB product id code, but Im glad to know that if I did, theres a way to get it without paying $5,000 while Im still in the experimentation / hobby stage.
