The Family is the Country of the Heart. Giuseppe Mazzini. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. We had a wedding! We also had Christmas. Avonlea started school part time in January and just went full time last week. We've ripped carpeting off our stairs and refinished them in wood. I started working again in a memory care facility (dementia care.) It's been busy but good! The stairs going to the lower level look the same way. Chinese New Year kids. New kitten Gallow.Because we love kittens. Always a Work in Progress.

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Okay, everybody. Here are our best pics from the first 4 weeks of Jonathan's life. Sorry, they're not in chronological order - Mommy is a little frustrated with this blogsite right now. I did my best to label them, though! Grandma and Grandpa Folsom were here for a while after J was born. This is the day they left. Always a scary time for the new mommy and daddy. The Family is the Country of the Heart. Giuseppe Mazzini. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Our summer flew by. The wedding was a jolt right in the middle and with prep and recovery it seemed we didn't hit the beach nearly enough and the tent came out, but only to the backyard. Here are some summer highlights.
