Sunday, 18 August 2013. A RESTART ON PL. Life has been busy. My previous job was draining me and there was little time to do anything else but work. Thankfully I have since left the company and now have much more time on hands and had the chance to pick-up doing Project Life again. In fact the job had consumed me so much that I didn't have even the chance to upload all my layouts from last year, of which the documentation sadly really stopped exactly when I started at the new place. Monday, 12 November 2012. Just some layouts to share using the October Studio Calico Roller Rink Kit that I got from scrappinstudio. Using contents from the kit, I decided that I wanted the wooden chevron to be part of the focus, and used strips of patterned paper to "decorate" the chevrons. November 25, 2012. Hong Kong 2012 by Marina Khong. I'm back with another 12 x 12 layout using November's main kit Sock Hop. I used the white dotted cardstock as a base. Then I trimmed the vellum to 11 x 11 and laid it on the center of the white base. Using strips of patterned paper I created the design on the left. November 25, 2011. Create Your Own Stamp. I’m excited to be here sharing with you a new technique I recently discovered via. Once I discovered the different type of print, I was immediately drawn to it. Let me show you how I created mine. For this project, all you need is a block/thick foam/acrylic block (as base), paint and yarn/twine. Tie a knot at the back of the base. Randomly wrap the twine to the base into a zig-zag pattern. Next apply paint and stamp it on your background paper. Wow i love the idea.
