Wigan Pier to Southend Pier 2018. The walk from Wigan Pier to Southend Pier was the brainchild of Ian Denham. The idea came to him whilst thinking of a new way of raising money and awareness for a cause close to his heart. Ian had already long been a fundraiser for Alzheimer's and had completed numerous events including the London Marathon in aid of fighting the disease. The pair are due to depart from Wigan Pier on May 10th 2018 and will be stopping at the following towns en route.
