Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Below is a picture of Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock. It is located 604 meters above the fjord below. Of course, it was so foggy that we couldn't actually see the water next to us, so I have also included a picuture of what it is actually supposed to look at. Saturday, January 27, 2007. Welcome Back to Real Life. Well I have now returned to a slower pace of life in Calgary. It is very good to be home in Canada and I am looking forward to catching up with those I missed. I was gone, but now I'm back and working on finishing my master's degree. possibly by September 2007, but likely by December 2007. After that. maybe I'll have another adventure? Sunday, October 29, 2006. We've been having a heat wave in Barcelona recently. Temperatures are still hovering around 25 during the day, so we decided to go to the beach yesterday to celebrate the completion of our first studio milestone: the context analysis. It was very refreshing! Last night, almost all of us went to see an FC Barcelona match! We were cheap, so our seats were right up against the back wall of the largest football pitch in Europe with a capacity of 98,000 spectators! FC Barcelona - 3.

Thursday, June 22, 2006. On the continuing trend of grown-up activities, I called the bank this evening to make a transaction. Saturday, July 15, 2006. I read my horoscope on my birthday and as is to be expected, it was entirely vague and seemed to be written for someone else. (which it probably was) I found it funny yet poignant at the same time when it said: "this year might be your best year yet" I felt like saying: "or it might not."? So, how does it feel to be 23? The reason I have little for Munich is that I spent on of my three days there traveling to and from the birthplace of Mozart and the filmset of the Sound of Music! Saturday, August 19, 2006. Have I mentioned to you that I hate packing? Well I do. Most fervently and passionately. In a perfect world, I think that a packing job should be conducted RIGHT before you leave for your trip. In this way, there is no need to keep things out (like your toothbrush etc) before you need them. You could just put everything you are going to need into your bags, zip them up, and then go.
