The adventures of first-time parents. Monday, May 17, 2010. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Beautiful day for a Beautiful baby. What a beautiful day! Amelia and I were beginning to get sick of the rainy and cold weather. After a week of not sleeping well, I'm hoping that a long walk out in the fresh air will help her sleep better tonight! Instead, we're going to run to Galesburg to get stuff for our hot tub! I'm sure she'll fall asleep on the way there though! Monday, May 10, 2010. Mother's Day was a great day!

First, we visit for Mia's second 4th of July at Twin Maple Campgrounds. She got to swim, play in the dirt, and play with cousins! The adventures of first-time parents. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Last Friday, Mia went to her first baseball game! It was Northwoods Night at the Peoria Chiefs game, so we shared her experience with lots from our church family. She rotated from seat to seat, playing with her friends and watching the game. Unforounately, the Chiefs did not win, but there was a great fireworks display afterwards. As Eliza said "I'm going to remember this night forever! Wednesday, July 6, 2011. The adventures of first-time parents. Saturday, December 11, 2010. Last night we had a great time at the Nielson Christmas Party. Mia was very good, and did her best to keep up with the big kids. She was walking all over, giving hugs, and she got to unwrap her first Christmas present.a cool Nielson backpack!
