I am thankful that my ancestors clung fiercely to their culture and their ways and that the inherent tenacity and integrity of Indigenous People is why we persist today. I wrote a piece about Cindy, But that blog is no longer online, so I couldn’t send you a link – I have the document in my archive. My relationship with Cindy is unique there is shared spirit, shared knowing that isn’t really explainable, and an ability to feel what the other is feeling.
