Pineapple Mama-Adventures Living in Paradise. What I learned from living on the Big Island of Hawaii. April 8, 2011. Interestingly enough, a few people have told me I should write my own book. I find this hysterical since I don’t have a college education, no major in English, no experience to think of really. Except for my interest in reading, I’m not sure Id know the first thing about writing a book. But there is one thing I know, and that’s that I have a BIG imagination. If I can write a blog I can at ...

Pineapple Mama-Adventures Living in Paradise. What I learned from living on the Big Island of Hawaii. March 15, 2011. I have fallen off of the virtual map. For about a month I rarely checked my e-mail or went on Facebook. (Gasp! I questioned why I even have a blog. There aren’t too many adventures in Utah. Okay, NO adventures. My life is lack luster and dull just like the weather. Everyone says, “Arent you glad you aren’t in Hawaii right now? I once again have the polished Bob, full make up and nice clot...

Pineapple Mama-Adventures Living in Paradise. What I learned from living on the Big Island of Hawaii. March 18, 2011. I am always amazed at how much support I get from writing this blog. I wonder what it is that’s so captivating. Maybe writing from my heart is relatable. But whatever the reason, it makes me happy to think I have some faithful friends and family members that appreciate my view of life. Posted in Hilo, Hawaii. University of Hawaii-Hilo College of Pharmacy. Wow, love it. On March 23, 2011.

Where We Begin: Gone
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2011/08/gone-too-soon.html
Friday, August 19. Was thinking about you. Today and just wanted to talk. I wanted to tell you that I saw your boys yesterday. That little J is a spit image of you-crazy how much he reminds me of you. That he makes my girls laugh-especially Haylee. O ask you what you think of your son playing football and what is it like having a son in eighth grade,. Tell you how your other son has made my girls too friendly with spiders. I freaked out when Haylee was about to pick one up the other day. Friday, August 1...
Where We Begin: Baby Hulk
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2009/08/baby-hulk.html
Friday, August 14. To and from my mom's apartment with Haylee. And Elise isn't half bad unless Haylee. Decides to grunt the whole way. You can't have any conversations at all. Good thing she is SO cute. This time I was. With my little bro Nate and Haylee. And Elise. Half way through the drive home Haylee. Starts grunting, screaming-whatever you call it. I use to call her my Chewbaka. Baby, since that is what she sounds like when she grunts. Was So funny since Nate kept looking back-a bit frazzled asking.
Where We Begin: Who's the boss
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2008/08/whos-boss.html
Monday, August 25. Girls are the Best. We have yet to have a boy, so I guess I am a bit bias. And after dealing with all of our emotions, I know that Josh is aching to have a son. Toy tool belts instead of dress ups. Trucks and toy guns instead of ponies and princesses . . . someday Mister-someday. But these two little ones are so sweet. Last night Josh told Elise "I am the boss, and you need to listen to me.". Elise replied, "No, You need to listen to me, I am the boss.". She be like when she is 16?
Where We Begin: Dream Crushers
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2013/04/dream-crushers.html
Saturday, April 6. Dreams make life bearable. That is what we are told. This year unknowingly started off as a year of Dreaming for Me. Dreams can happen at age 33. Sometimes these dreams are trying to speak to us. As we dance around them blindly, not truly seeing them for what they are. Not seeing ourselves for who we are. That is when we need to ask ourselves "what am I passionate about, or what is it I am. Maybe it's completely out of your norm, out of who you have been molded into most of your life.
Where We Begin: Sometimes blessings come in fours
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2015/05/sometimes-blessings-come-in-four.html
Saturday, May 30. Sometimes blessings come in fours. This was my ultrasound at 12 weeks. I really felt we were going to have a boy. I just felt real sick with this one, and the acne on my neck will not let up. I started showing earlier than usual which gave some the impression this is one is going to be a big baby and perhaps even a boy! I thought they must be right. My half way point. Look at my baby bump. . . I am feeling very pregnant already. . Saturday, May 30, 2015. View my complete profile. 8220;...
Where We Begin: Piano Recital Spring 2015
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2015/06/piano-recital-spring-2015.html
Saturday, June 13. Piano Recital Spring 2015. It was that time again, our Spring Recital. I had 12 students this year. I seem to keep adding more and more, which must be a good sign. This year we focused on Classical pieces. I was determined to have each student play at least one classical piece that was different form the other songs being played. I have some very talented pianists who stepped up this year. I am proud of my girls for their willingness to learn. I was really proud of all my students!
Where We Begin: Lullabys
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2015/01/goodnight-my-angel.html
Wednesday, January 14. I am amazed at how we change. How I have changed. Sometimes thing die inside and things are found. Sometimes things just ache. I remember years ago a dear friend expressing how a part of her died inside after a devastating miscarriage. I never understood, but tried. I didn't judge or criticize her, I just wondered what that felt like-to have a part of you die inside. To feel a loss of who you are. Sadly, I think I understand, and I get it now. I remember my mom would always ask me ...
Where We Begin: Oregon Trip 2014
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2014/06/oregon-trip-2014.html
Tuesday, June 24. So we started our journey off to Oregon. A long 14 hour drive with 3 kids . . . not a bad road trip. They did pretty well. We were glad to finally get to Grandma's house. The girls were waiting for this trip for the past month and couldn't stop asking when we were visiting Grandma. The love their grandma Bonnie to pieces! Haylee, being her sweet self put my mom's hat and glasses on. Funny thing is she does the same with my hat and glasses too. The Coast at Newport. The girls loved to pl...
Where We Begin: I have to smile
http://wherewebegin.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-have-to-smile.html
Friday, July 31. I have to smile. I love this picture of my girls. They are beautiful in every way. My mother has been on my mind these past few weeks. Haylee even put "Bonnie's Day" on the calendar on July 21st. We have been out to visit the farm twice these past two weeks and each time I think about my mom. She loved being outside. I would get caught off guard in those moments when the girls were. We laugh and I shed a few more tears. Friday, July 31, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 8220;You ...

Pineapple Mama-Adventures Living in Paradise | What I learned from living on the Big Island of Hawaii
Pineapple Mama-Adventures Living in Paradise. What I learned from living on the Big Island of Hawaii. April 8, 2013. People are still reading? I haven written on my blog for about 2 years now. I have tried to put Hawaii behind me because I feel devastated every time I think about my shortened adventure. I left my heart there and I don’t feel there is another place in this world that will make me feel at home. What if we could sell absolutely everything again and start from scratch? I could be the lady wh...

This aint a city its a golf cart ass face. Wednesday, May 20th, 2015. Holy shit in a tunnel of fog with chance of depression and anxiety, good grief. Monday, May 26th, 2014.
