Our Staff Team is headed by Martin Parmiter, the Responsible Person, who works closely with Kerry Turton, the Home Manager (on the right in the photo), who has many years experience in Care. She is backed by a full complement of Care Assistants many of whom hold NVQ and other appropriate qualifications. In addition, we have permanent catering and maintenance staff. We have 21 rooms, all with en suite facilities. Most are a generous size with many having views to the sea or garden. Residents may bring their own furniture (items such as armchairs must comply with fire regulations). Telephones can be provided for. Our home Manager will assess the needs of a new resident on or before arrival at Pinehurst and produce a Care Plan which provides all the information needed to deliver the optimum level of care 24 hours a day. The Care Plan is monitored and reviewed on a regular basis. We will liaise, as appropriate, with your family, friends, doctor and social worker to help ensure that high quality care is delivered, with the resident’s wishes always being placed at the top of the list.
