You loose resolution for the sake of convenience, but it might be worth it at times. The most depth of field from a lens that is possible without it being a pinhole camera. Nice in that you really don't need a darkroom. About the same speed as cyanotype, but silver based hand made emulsion. Using a continious tone lith internegative to end up with a positive photogram. Uses old photo paper out in the sun and then fixed. strange colors and shades. Plant extracts can be light sensitive too.

Pinhole: A pinhole/long-exposure camera for your iPhone
Pinhole uses a unique method to simulate the long exposure times of a pinhole camera.
