Probably the best view in the world. Laquo; Patio and path: Done. The final part of the interior refurb is now complete and all four bedrooms have been revamped. Only two pics at the moment as the builders were still drilling holes and putting beds together in some of the rooms but it all looks lovely. New paint, carpets and curtains throughout along with new lamps, lights, cushions and pictures. The upstairs double is now done out in pink (of course! The bunk room. Ship shape and bristol fashion.

Probably the best view in the world. Dustbin collection is early Monday. Put the bins out Sunday evening on the corner of the path on the hill. Otherwise, the bins live on the raised platform area at the side of the cottage by the gate. All instruction booklets are in the bottom drawer (of the 4) in the kitchen. Probably the best view in the world. Laquo; The Lugger, Fowey. So long, short bath. I must admit that I feel a little sad that our old bath will be going. At 5’4″ I can sit in it with my legs outstretched and my feet reach the end, so it’s properly small, but it’s lovely and deep and I think it’s from about the 1930’s. We did think about keeping it but decided it’d be better to have a proper sized bath. The beautiful avocado suite. And we’ll post the finished results then! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Probably the best view in the world. Laquo; Bathrooms: DONE. Patio and path: Done. Dad and our builder, Pirate Pete, out on the patio. Proper job. Sunny Fowey as seen from the new patio. Lovely. Looking out from the living room. Table, chairs and umbrella to arrive soon! The path that ran alongside the house which was seriously cracked and lopsided (caused in part by a cracked drain which runs under the path) has been completely redone, finishing off the outside area. In Fowey is almost always the third week in August (due to the way the weeks fall in the calendar, sometimes it’s a little late, sometimes a little early). There’s a whole week of sailing – obviously, it wouldn’t be a regatta otherwise – including the Fowey to Falmouth race, and load of stuff that goes on around it, kicking off with opening fireworks.
