Kelsey Sews: June 2012
http://kelseysews.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. June do.Good Stitches. This month in the Heal Circle. Of doGood Stitches we got to make any star block out of solids. I love stars so I used this as an opportunity to try two new blocks I've never made before. The first I chose was an Ohio Star - I do live in Ohio! McCall's pattern and it came together so quickly. I am considering making a mini or a throw out of these. Wouldn't the points look neat when you pieced several together? This is the Whirling Star. Links to this post.

Colleen pieced and appliqued this gorgeous medallion quilt and asked me to fill it with traditional quilting motifs. I hope she's happy with the feathers, echoing, and stippling! Visit my personal blog.

a lotta bit fun: January 2013
http://alottabitfun.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
A lotta bit fun. I like to make things. Crocheted, sewn, quilted, cooked, grown. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. With the yarn along. The Yarn Along is new to me, but what fun! Yarn and reading, two of my favorite things—which I can't do at the same time, total bummer. Books on tape put me to sleep, which is not conducive to craftiness. Crochet: Sólás Coamh by Jodi Euchner, Interweave Crochet Spring 2009. Book: NW by Zadie Smith (halfway through). Tami's Amis WIP Wednesday. Links to this post. Pattern for s...

a lotta bit fun: August 2013
http://alottabitfun.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
A lotta bit fun. I like to make things. Crocheted, sewn, quilted, cooked, grown. Sunday, August 11, 2013. Back from the Big Vacay! Yes, it's been a few months. A few months of whirlwind busyness. Kid 1 got out of school at the end of May, Kid 2 nearer the end of June. Less than a week after Kid 2 was out, we were off to Europe for 6.5 weeks! Which, in hindsight, was too long—Kid 1 and I are both feeling overwhelmed with his starting school in 4 days! Bead a Murano bead from Venice. Cord purchased in ...
