For people who like making stuff. July 15, 2010. Posted by Anne under Uncategorized. If I had to choose one thing to sew, and had to stick to that one thing for the rest of forever, it would be quilts to welcome babies into the world. Because when you take a simple quilt and add this:. It’s just all kinds of better. Would you please welcome Bethany? Although, come to think of it, Caroline is probably getting about as much sleep as she used to when we were 19. So we’re not yet past it! Awww… Carolin...

For anyone who’s interested. I know you’re supposed to match your thread to the main fabric. But I was enjoying myself. It’s still pretty. I have already done 10% of this quilt! In other news — I have done a bit of a Spring. One Response to “More Crazy Jane”. July 10, 2010 at 12:28 am. Enter your comment here.

OK, so, back to the discussion from yesterday. I really hope you’re not bored of my bread nerdiness yet! There is a lot of unneccessary mysticism around sourdough, and I think that’s why people give up on baking it at home. So here’s the essential information:. A lot of time. For people who like making stuff. July 23, 2010. The Great Bake-Off: No-Knead Bread vs Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. Posted by Anne under Tutorials. Tags: artisan bread in five minutes a day. I love making bread. I do. I get. Nerdy about it, too. I am also a total bread snob which means that I don’t bake regularly. How does that work? Not knowing how much butter there is in my pastry). I have to mind the bread. At making bread regularly. Instead of trying for absolute perfection, I took two qu...

Fevered Rantings: September 2011
http://feveredrantings.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Random thoughts, reviews, fiction and frothing at the mouth. Accept no substitutes. Sunday, September 18, 2011. A pledge of regular mediocrity. To help alleviate this issue, I have reminded myself of three things: 1) I started this blog as an outlet for the rants that bubble up from within me on a semi-regular basis, 2) I find journalling/ranting therapeutic, and (perhaps most importantly) 3) No-one reads the fucking thing anyway! 1) Pop into existence. Clearly, this author has never studied maths", Against the Odds Magazine, 2008. Sunday, August 31, 2008. On being 'at one'. In love with my outfit! This outfit makes me SO happy! 😀 I feel like a princess whenever I wear it. Who says you can’t wear princess dresses unless you’re getting married? Pishposh long, flowy dresses for the win, I say! Funny how sometimes you worry a lot about something and it turns out to be nothing. – August Pullman; Wonder by R. J. Palacio. Pins and tucks | Sewing, fashion, and all things vintage!
Sewing, fashion, and all things vintage! Seaside print ‘Lilou dress’. August 26, 2014. A few weeks ago, I finally finished my first fitted dress! I learnt a very important lesson from this make, make a toile first! In the end I pulled in the seams only from the front, though I don’t think I did it very well as you can see where the fabric has been pulled along the ribcage. If you have also made this dress, please let me know how you got on and post a picture! Seaside print ‘Lilou dress’.
