Styer Family: May 2013
http://idahostyers.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 4, 2013. During the same week as the move, Spencer had to travel to Portland for, quite possibly, the biggest job interview of our lives! Previously, the president of Spencer's company had encouraged him to apply for an open position, Regional Vice President. So he did. He had to interview with 3 other RVP's and then with the President. We were super stressed about all the big changes in our lives and are so happy that it all paid off. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Greatest thing about the move?

Monday, September 9, 2013. Football.Flag not Tackle. Gavin really wanted to play football this year. Football of the tackling variety. I am so not ready for two boys with such full practice schedules. I know it's gonna happen soon and I realize that we'll eventually have 3 boys playing at the same time.maybe even 4? Let's see, when Harrison is old enough for tackle (9 or 10), Cam will be 18 or 19.so Cam will be on his mission! Gavin is just fun to watch in whatever he does. He smiles all the time. This m...

Thursday, May 31, 2012. Because Madi is our first (and only) girl, I've had a hard time knowing what to do with her hair. I didn't know if I should cut it or let it grow out. I loved doing this:. But most of the time, she pulled it out within an hour of having it done. One morning, while she was eating breakfast, I noticed that we had a serious mullet! I texted Callie a picture of the mullet and decided it was time to get rid of it. Madi sat nice for Aunt Callie and pretty soon we had a cute little bob!

Monday, April 30, 2012. Because I'm playing catch-up, these posts aren't going to be as detailed or fun as they could've been, had I done them when they actually happened. Oh well. All three big boys started Soccer. I say this was the year of the highlighters, because the colors of their teams were exactly like highlighter markers.Cam was blue (the most mild, by far), Gavin was yellow, and Owen was orange! You almost needed sunglasses just to look at their shirts! Sunday, April 8, 2012. Grandma Tisa gave...

Sunday, March 31, 2013. We went to iJump in Idaho Falls with Abbie, Avery, and Jette on Friday. The boys love being with their cousins and it was fun for the parents and grandparents to watch. Gavin especially enjoyed the dodgeball area. I loved that there was a nice area for anyone under 48 inches tall. We got an ice cream cone at Arctic Circle on our way back to Blackfoot. Crawdad Fishing with Grandpa. Thursday, March 28, 2013. Martins Cove and Independence Rock. Wednesday, March 27, 2013.

Styer Family: July 2012

Saturday, July 28, 2012. He gave his all but the coaches didn't give any encouragement or coaching during tryouts. Except two coaches.the Jefferson brothers. On the third day of tryouts, the boys showed up in all their pads, helmets, and gear. I was amazed that they let them start hitting each other without even showing them any techniques. Not very safe, in my opinion. After the last day of tryouts, the coaches met to have a draft. They had enough boys to fill 8 teams of 10-year-old boys! Cameron chose ...

Saturday, August 31, 2013. Football vs. West Jordan. Cam is already loving this football season. They won their first real game today against West Jordan, 27-0. In the first part of the game, one of his teammates got hit pretty hard. He took a helmet to his wrist and had to leave the game to have it x-rayed. It was broken but he'll still be able to play. Good thing because he's the back-up quarterback! Monday, August 26, 2013. They were happy to have many important people come to their show. I really...

Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Spencer has a lot of unused vacation time so when the opportunity presented itself to take an entire week off, he jumped on it! We accomplished a lot and had some fun too. The kids didn't have school in Monday so we worked together to clean the house and then went to Monsters University. Probably one I the best family movies I've seen in a really long time! Grandpa Dave and Grandma Tisa joined us. We all watch Gavin play flag football that evening. Callie watched the twins agai...
