This past weekend we had every intention of going to the Florence library kid’s event…but it didn’t happen. We spent about 3 hours Saturday morning on the damp and dreary soccer field for the jamboree and decided to retreat home for lunch. After lunch we decided to head to Charlotte, NC. Once we scooped up the kid the entire family ate in the restaurant for under $10.

Don't be afraid to travel with small children. I used to find travelling with my daughter when she was a small baby quite a surprise. I'm glad I gave it a bash. She didn't require any food except the boob, so I was a walking supermarket that never closed and she couldn't exactly run away from me and get lost! She was also light to carry.
