The Thiers: Ham and Turkey Croissants
http://www.thethiers.com/2014/12/ham-and-turkey-croissants.html
Sunday, December 14, 2014. Ham and Turkey Croissants. In this home, we agree on many things. Except food. Somehow we've created little connoisseurs that think very differently about their preferred menus. But tonight, a slight miracle occurred. I made a meal creatively, using a couple of recipes as a guide, and I managed to please everyone, myself included. I have no photos, but here's what I did. Simple and delicious! Turkey, and ham in you preferred, chopped finely. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Friday, November 28, 2014. The Carlins Adoption Day. I want to include this on our blog because it was such an honor to be a part of something so special for our friends’ family. The Carlins have been our friends for a few years now, and we have watched them go through foster training, then receive 2 children and adjust from having 4 kids to having 6. What a journey! If you ever get a chance to attend something like this, do it. You’ll be glad. The Carlin kids posing with their grandma.

Tuesday, December 2, 2014. It’s Amazing What God Can Do (Happy Anniversary, Chuck). 8221; Her response: “ It’s amazing what God can do. And it’s amazing what God did in the span of a few days on that camping trip. I had a lot on my mind, and this getaway with family was just what I needed to process the events unfolding. I had been friends with Chuck Thier for over 2 years. In that time, I’d analyzed him from every angle. How did he relate to his family? How did he control his temper? My confidence waver...

Monday, September 29, 2014. Entering Chandler’s World. 8221; So he showed me how he’d found a small niche where lantana was growing wildly on it’s own. I was amazed. I hadn’t ever noticed it there before. So, as a break in his school day, I grabbed scissors and a jar, and told him that for once, we would pick the flowers together. He was to give me a tour. What followed truly surprised and touched me. These were Chandler’s favorites. Posted by Angie Thier. Saturday, September 27, 2014. Last weekend, we d...

Saturday, March 30, 2013. We’ve been a couple of times before, but both of those were in the heat of summer. So when the school planned a winter trip to the Ranch, I was excited. The weather turned out to be perfect, and we had the place all to ourselves. Chuck came along, and we were able to split up and go the routes of the different grades. It was a great day! This is one of the two wagons, loaded up with the parents, for the ride through the fields. You gotta love this kids and his poses…. Ethan, enj...

Thursday, November 27, 2014. This is the perfect post for Thanksgiving. It sums up my latest blessings perfectly! The day after Halloween, the family went out to cheer on Chance at his next soccer game…. And enjoyed the rest of the day together. The next day we had family from far and wide come in, and friends join us as we celebrated a momentous occasion for two Thier boys: their baptisms. As it usually goes, they came from completely opposite directions. So, here are the baptisms:. Posted by Angie Thier.

Tuesday, September 11, 2012. California Vacation, volume 1. So, now in my blogging I've come to THE reason I had given up writing blogs back in March. My hard drive has 1700 photos from this trip. So, are you ready for some pictures? Just kidding. I weeded down and literally have to take it one day at a time. So if you make it all the way through, then you're an amazing friend (or you're my mom). Ok, so Chuck had a. Thanks to the lion statue at the San Antonio Zoo, my kids love climbing on statues. The Thiers: August 2013
http://www.thethiers.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. Chuck and I have longed to have a garden for a few years now. For the fresh produce. For the life lessons for us and our boys. For the deer to demolish. That last reason is why we’ve never planted one. I’ve had a herb garden indoors, but nothing within reach of those ever-hungry does and bucks. The down-side to writing this 5 months later is I know this one didn’t have a happy ending. Back to the drawing board…. This was seed-planting day! Everyone chipped in with watering.

Saturday, October 11, 2014. Charlie made Jayden a bracelet with his name on it. Chance really enjoyed Jayden holding his finger. We also spent the week at the campground, visiting with Grandma and Grandpa, although I didn’t manage to take any photos. Really wish I could have a redo for that. We also spent some time at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Bob Bullock Museum. I was grateful that my friend Kira met us for the Wildflower Center and we got to spend some time together.

Friday, April 19, 2013. Colorado Vacation–the second half. Charlie’s Birthday was on Tuesday of our trip, and it turned out to be wonderful. We spent a gorgeous day on the slopes, enjoying the mountain with all of our might. That evening, the Riebel family invited us over to their place. Their driveway was a long hill, which happens to be perfect for sledding! A snowman was enjoying the sunset…. Here’s a video of the awesome sledding we did. The Carlins going down the hill. This is how Charlie rolled.
