http://savagesinecuador.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 22, 2012. Kyle calls it Ecuadorian snow, but in fact it is hail. In the Andes Mountains of Ecuador there are two season ( Summer. Aka the dry season and Winter. Aka the rainy season.) Summer starts about March of every year and goes more or less through September. During the Summer months it rarely rains and it is very sunny. Though the temperature never gets above 80 degrees it can be pretty hot at over 8,000 feet when the sun is right on top of you. Nickel and Dime Size Hail. 1 When you...

Savages in Ecuador: January 2013
http://savagesinecuador.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 5, 2013. Happy New Year Ecuadorian Style! Before moving to Ecuador we knew there would be many cultural differences we would face. The most obvious and most difficult being the language difference. Day to day activities we took for granted in the USA became extremely difficult and tiresome for us here in Ecuador. However, after nine months of language learning we function quite well in our day to day activities, and are increasing weekly in our conversational Spanish. Are mourning their...

Savages in Ecuador: May 2012
http://savagesinecuador.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. In our previous newsletter I mentioned our need for a vehicle. We asked people to pray and give toward a vehicle as they felt led. Praise the Lord. In just two short weeks God has provided a vehicle for us! We found out this past weekend someone is giving us a vehicle! God continues to amaze us as HE. To the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! One of Ecuador's active volcanos named "Tungurahua". Letting off a little steam. The black smoke and ash on top.

Savages in Ecuador: March 2012
http://savagesinecuador.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 30, 2012. Down the street from our new home in Ecuador is a local pizza shop. One evening a day or two after moving into our home Alayna and I ventured out for a taste of the local flavor of pizza. Upon arriving and deciding what we should order, a family size cheese pizza, I began to order entirely in my limited Spanish. The man then responds, "Oh, you are American I thought you were from Europe or something.". Thursday, March 8, 2012. We Come To Go! All the world for Jesus sake". At which...
