Serving the Kendawangan People: Trip to Kendawangan-Land
http://pipindoen.blogspot.com/2010/07/reisebericht-1.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. Sorry, that you had to "read" a German traveloug for the last couple days. Although, maybe it was good practice. :-). But thanks for praying for our trip! It certainly was a great adventure and we had lots to be thankful for. The roads, as you can see on the pictures, were "amazing"! It was an 8-hour trip. By the way, this place is called the "Grand Canyon"! Hannah and Pascal were actually enjoying it. And they didn't complain at all. They are great travellers. Send us a Message.

Serving the Kendawangan People: December 2009
http://pipindoen.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Do you like surprises? We do, especially when we surprise someone else. It was about 9:30 pm when Paul's dad opened the door and couldn't believe what he saw. It took him a while to realize, it wasn't a ghost but Paul and I in person. Our family had a hard time to believe we didn't play a joke on them. It was so much fun! We only had told Irene's parents about our coming to Germany and the surprise was perfect! Ever since we arrived on the field, we have been praying about w...

Serving the Kendawangan People: May 2014
http://pipindoen.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 8, 2014. We are very thankful for how our last translation check went. There were about 300 verses that we wanted to see checked, all from Genesis 1-14. For any previous checks it had been very difficult to find people willing to help. And we were quite nervous about how it would work out this time. We are so thankful that the Lord intervened and all four helpers came, for most of the time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Send us a Message. Unreached People of the Day. Neues von Paul und Irene.

Serving the Kendawangan People: June 2010

Friday, June 18, 2010. Back to "the promise Land". Saying Goodbye to Paul's parents at the Frankfurt airport.). After a great time in Germany with family, friends and churches, we made it back to the field beginning of May and have been busy settling into a new place. Here Paul is trying to set up the gas stove closely watched by Pascal. He did get it working again so I could make him a cup of coffee. Of course, communication is important - even in the midst of greatest chaos. :-). In His care,.

http://pipindoen.blogspot.com/2012/06/first-outings.html
Tuesday, June 26, 2012. We were making contact with people from the very first day, trying to catch some of the language and culture and make friends. At a neighbor's house (kitchen). At the rice field. Lots of fun, but also lots to learn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Send us a Message. Unreached People of the Day. Neues von Paul und Irene. View my complete profile.
