A blog about Pipkin Rabbit Rescue (PRR). PRR is based in Tyne and Wear, England. We rescue and rehome (or keep) stray rabbits and some guinea pigs. Thursday, 16 September 2010. This must be a record. Ten months since the last post! I am going to * try* to post once a week - don't hold your breath! An awful lot has happened since the last post, it's the busiest the rescue has been, with an unprecedented number of stray rabbits, including very young babies. Thursday, September 16, 2010.

Saturday, 27 August 2011. In the running for "World's worst blogger" award. One of these days I'll update regularly (possibly! I've just joined a KAL (knit along) in one of the Ravelry groups that I am in. It's for a fantastic blacket/quilt, called "Beekeeper's Quilt" and is made up of. Of knitted and stuffed hexagons. Tuesday, 7 December 2010. Long time no post. The last couple of weeks have (and still are! Been chaos due to the worst snow here for more than 45 years. Trying to keep the bunnies in the rescue warm and dry and with running water in their bottles is taking all of my energies. Very little knitting has been done lately - most days none at all, as the buns are top priority. PLEASE may the weather warm up to above freezing before I go into hospital. Friday, 12 November 2010. I went up to our local wool shop yesterday, with a list of DPNs that I need to add to my collection. Only to find that the shop does not stock. DPNs It drives me mad having to pay postage on fairly basic items that I would expect all wool shops to stock. It's bad enough not having much choice in yarn, but I realise that shops can't stock all yarns and cater to all tastes, however I would have thought a stock of DPNs and circular needles isn't too much to expect! I have got grand...

Sunday, 7 November 2010. Why are there not enough hours in the day, or days in the week? My list of to do projects gets longer and longer - if only designers would stop issuing brilliant new designs, to give me a sporting chance at catching up! I have a bad case of startitis, but unfortunately haven't managed to catch finishitis just yet.
