Sunday, 10 June 2012. A WALK AROUND THE LAKES 2012 BRAITHWAITE TO BUTTERMER. Day two started with a long walk up Coledale Valley, as you can see another hot day, tongue out already. Onwards down the track towards Crag mine. Force Crag Mine was the last working metal mine in the Lake District, prior to its final abandonment in 1991. Here we are Poppy, Cracker and I out walking while the owners are working, well when i say working Poppy's owner, Simon, wasn't working of course that would be just too unbelievable! Me and cracker running around in mad circles. While Poppy sits there thinking what a waste of energy.
