We decided to drive the north shore of Lake Superior, and Huron thru Ontario to end our trip at Dave and Lindsey’s in northern NY. We stopped at Pancake Bay and saw the area where the Edmond Fitzgerald sank……it was so close to shore. We mined again :). This time for amethysts, the Provincial mineral of Ontario. Stayed 4 days with Dave, weeded and planted, all those things us non-homeowners love to do! June 11, 2011.
