http://threebirdsathome.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Vintage suburbia: September 2012
http://vintagesuburbia.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A mother of two surviving the dullness of suburbia through style, glamour and her love of all things vintage. 28 September, 2012. Rockabilly Bernie Dexter style in Spain. In preparation for my trip to Spain recently, I put together some great outfits built on a nautical/red and white rockabilly theme. Sticking to one colour palette when you pack for holidays means you can use the same accessories and have more outfits to wear - yay! Blouse and high waisted capri pants: Bernie Dexter. Old and new boutique.

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Front yard in May, Front yard in June. Originally uploaded by 3Birds. I've been remiss in blogging, but very busy in real life. Since I last blogged, I've done a lot of baking and gardening, been reviewed by the Baltimore City Public School System (more about that in future entries), resumed several knitting projects, rekindled my own and my children's interest in microscopy and entomology, and buried my beloved cat (more about that next update.). Links to this post. I'm an urba...

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Originally uploaded by 3Birds. A lot of the projects I conceive of never make it out of the speculative stage because I forget about them before I begin. I have a queue. Of knitting projects on Ravelry. But the folks who designed that fabulous knitting community prefer to keep the focus on knitting, crochet, and spinning. Short of designing a sewing/embroidery/baking/candy-making/papercrafting/weaving/bookmaking/etc knock-off (which, noway, nohow! 2 A project I started last yea...

Monday, January 05, 2009. Originally uploaded by 3Birds. My youngest got his first library card today. My plan was to wait for a special day and make a Very Big Deal out of it, but today when we were gathering our books and cards he said "Me want my own card" so I told him we'd get him one that very day. And we did. The Enoch Pratt Free Library. Restricts new borrowers to just 2 books for their first check-out, and Finch chose Tana Hoban's Is It Larger? By 'incredibly old' I mean Methusalan! Monday, April 21, 2008. Ahoy there, crew members! Do any of you Baltimore folks remember Captain Chesapeake? Anyway, I've been neglecting my blog because I've been frightfully busy, but since part of being 'busy' included frolicking at Rehoboth Beach a couple of weeks ago, I've got lots to blog about. Now that I've caught up on the housekeeping, I'll be posting more regularly for a bit, until I get behindhand and overwhelmed again! So, I offer you, an ffo (failed finished object):.
