Thursday, December 18, 2008. We love to read! One of our favorite authors is Stuart Woods. He must have written over 20 novels. They are very easy fast reads and you can tell that Stuart writes about what he likes. One of the things he writes about frequently is eating at Elaine's and ordering osso bucco. Hmmmm. So I look it up on the internet, print out a recipe, shop for the ingredients and cook. And yes - it was yummy - but not an everyday meal - the veal shanks are pricey! Hris - Racer Extraordinaire.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008. We had a snowstorm while Chris was in Seattle for a client meeting. I thought I would surprise him by snowblowing the driveway so that he didn't have to do it when he got back. First of all - it's hard work - I'm not a wussy but I don't like pushing around this heavy machinery in subzero weather.
