Well, i have a little new york schoolgirl :) makenzie started first grade this week. it's funny because she started on wednesday and then had thursday and friday off for rosh hashanah, so a very short first week. this next week will be a little more strange that she is in school all day everyday! In kindergarten she only went for 3 1/2 hours, so her being gone all day will be so weird! She was so excited to start and was bummed to not get to go back yet. :). Schools are quite different here!

Lamentations 3:22 God's mercies are new every morning. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Lately, I've noticed that Gabe's found a new buddy. It's our 4 year old lab, Brook. He loves on her and pulls her ears. She doesn't seem to mind. I guess after a baby stealing her attention, she welcomes the rough affection. This is our new favorite picture of Gabe. It won't be long and he'll be trampling through the woods with his Dad, grandpas, and uncle. Saturday, April 3, 2010. Delight in obeying Him? Emma Lynn- 6 Months.

Today makenzie got out her paints to make a book. she worked so hard on it. first she drew the outline for all the different birds. then she painted them and then she wrote about each one. i didn't help her at all, she came out of her room with the finished product. so cute! She even added a cover page, an inside cover and a back page :) i did tell her she should remember to write in pencil so that when she messes up she can erase instead of scribbling. :). Lamentations 3:22 God's mercies are new every morning. Saturday, May 30, 2009. Playing in the Pool. We're not sure what Gabe's thinking here, but it's a funny picture! Gabe loves his O-ball. It is his favorite toy. He would toss his ball outside the pool, and we would throw his ball on the otherside of the pool for him to fetch. It was funny listening to his gasps as his belly got into the cold water. Gabe took a wonderful nap after playing in all this water! Very refreshing on a hot day! Dave surprised ...
