Back from the glacier tour of the Alps, we got a night train to Paris, France, arriving Friday morning. It was a little over 300 miles from Zurich and the train would have taken at least eight hours, or all night. Paris was a little over 300 miles WNW of Zurich. The franc was the currency of France. 1 franc = 10 decimes = 100 centimes. In 1966, 1 US dollar = 4.8 francs. Mona Lisa at the Musée du Louvre.
