Thursday, September 02, 2010. 經過一整年的荒廢, 雖然我沒有忘記這裡的存在, 但是要繼續地冷言冷語下去, 是需要時間來醞釀的.至少2010年裡也要來寫一篇阿. 最大的改變就是離開了學校系統, 到醫院去上班了, 我即使還是會在課堂上教課, 生活的重心已經不是著重和邏輯以及數字打仗, 還要和時間賽跑, 學術外的世界並不是非常理性的, 明明有效的治療方法有時候就是會失靈, 我這滿腔熱血的治療師也只能愛莫能助, 幸好新的同事和至今遇到的病人大多數都是好人, 讓我還在適應中的新生活抱持一貫的優雅. 這一年學到很多離別 , 有生離也有死別, 我的理性不斷的告訴自己在分開的當下該要堅強, 我的感性卻又無法止住讓我瀟灑的放下, 只能留待時間沖淡濃濃的情緒, 雖說在他鄉的日子裡以及醫學的訓練中, 面對離別應該是很平常的, 人們來來去去, 我的落腳處不總是別人的落腳處, 就像是從前沒想過要離開台灣, 現在也應該不期待自己會永遠的待在這裡吧想起蘇軾的詩人生到處知何似應似飛鴻踏雪泥。 Who says I can't get stoned.

Saturday, February 25, 2006. 最近Pittsburgh的日間開始變長了，原本5點就天黑延到大約6點多，不管春冬、晴雨、早晚，我都喜歡走路回家，尤其華氏43度的天氣，不需要戴帽子也不覺得冷，涼風可以把人吹醒，趕走一天的疲憊，熱鬧的Forbes Ave.上攜來人往，望著馬路上閃閃的車尾紅色警示燈，大家也要回家了，接著走到Cathedral of Learning後方那條人煙稀少的小徑，路燈領著我向前行，左方有些教室依然有人在上課，右方可以眺望Carnegie Library前方公園內的兩排樹，眼前則是Heinz Chapel前的一大片草皮，許多學生會群聚著玩飛盤或是美式足球，雖然這是我回家的路線之一，不過這條路線非常適合沉澱緩和心靈. 圖示某週末降到華氏-2度，唸書到沒勁時跑出去照了一些照片，這就是下大雪時的Heinz Chapel - 一個校區內的小教堂，內部有精緻的Glass Mosaic窗，我最愛去那裡聽學校無伴奏合唱團Heinz Chapel Choir的表演). Wednesday, June 29, 2011. She eats screws for breakfast. Our first trip to the emergency room for August. We sat there for THREE hours before they even called us back to be seen. Now, August is a very well behaved girl, but you can only expect so much from a 19 month old who hasn't eaten and is going well past her nap time. She did well, but my nerves STILL feel a little raw from this experience. Literally, one of the top ten worst experiences of my life. Worst days because of it really. Tim: Yes I did!
