One of the favorite biking road trips of Pittsburgh Road Trips is the Stavich Bike Trail. The trail follows the train line from New Castle, PA to Struthers, OH. Located off of Route 65 in Ambridge, Old Economy Village was the home of the nineteenth century Christian communal group, the Harmony Society. Rapp's seat in harmony, pa. Trail to Rapp's Seat. After parking in Harmony, we took a short walk up to Evergreen Street and then along the Connoquenessing Creek to the set of stairs next to the road that leads up a steep hill to the legendary Rapp's Seat. George Rapp established the Harmony Society in 1805 and lived in this part of Butler County for 10 years, before relocating to the state of Indiana. The group relocated again - back to Pennsylvania years later - and settled in Economy.

Avenue of Flags is a park in the city of Hermitage in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States, erected during the Iran hostage crisis of 1979 - 1981 to honor the American diplomats held hostage in Tehran, Iran.
