Cruising the World - The Way It Is. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Last Days at Anchor in Moorea. Va'a competition through the anchorage. Two competing va'a teams passing close to Irie. Sunrise above Tahiti; yes, I am getting up early, these days! Massive waves breaking over the reef and causing strong surges and current underneath Irie. Cruising the World - The Way It Is. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Life Back in New England (and Photo Overload :-). Everyone has one. What's the big fuss? To be totally honest, the bag of chips was irresistible, and I am. Enjoying my comfortable daily showers… But, what is wrong with a normal (to me) phone these days? They call them “dumb” phones, but at least they worked and I never messed things up each time I touched one! And why do all the air conditioners have to turn every room or store into a freezer?

Cruising the World - The Way It Is. Our Trusty Sailboat and Lovely Floating Home “Irie” was up for Sale. 8211; which happened in October 2007 when we started our trip. Down the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) to Florida. That was exactly 7 years ago! Right after all my Green Card procedures were finished, we eventually left the country. So, we reached the Bahamas. And around the first hurricane season, when it was time to make some commitments or to return, we decided to continue on, and never looked back.
