Home Cooking With Anna. Tuesday, December 23, 2008. I made lamb and pomegranate plov a few months ago and even though I don't remember the recipe, I couldn't resist posting this picture. This dish has everything but the kitchen sink in it (sorry for the Rachel Ray reference) and I did a ton of research before combining dozens of different plov recipes. Home Cooking With Anna. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Veal and Lamb Meatballs. Here is my best attempt at recalling the recipe. 3/4 lbs ground veal. 3/4 lbs ground lamb. 3/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan. 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs. 1/4 cup of Panko bread crumbs. Pinch of: salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika. 2-3 tablespoons of warm water. 2 Tablespoons of butter. 1 large shallot (can substitute with a half an onion). Pinch of salt and pepper. A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg.

The first part (Jacques Pepin style potatoes) is actually a copy/paste from foodnetwork.com and was featured on Rachel Ray a while back. 3 pounds baby Yukon gold potatoes. Freshly ground black pepper. 3 cups chicken stock. 2 to 3 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley leaves.

Until I went to London last Spring, I probably never even heard of the term 'bangers and mash' and if I did, I probably thought it was a rock and roll band. The term is ubiquitous in the English/Irish community and is really just a silly way of saying sausages and mashed potatoes.
