Sunday, May 11, 2008. Thursday, May 8th. This was a take it easy day. It was hot! Teapots being sold at the Jade market. I walked back home after the jade market for some lunch and crashed for a bit. I visited with my aunt in the evening, she had picked up some mangosteen (pictured below) for me. We went for a short walk on the waterfront. Like I said, it was a take it easy day. Monday, May 5, 2008. Monday, May 5th, Happy Cinco de Mayo! After spending the morning with my aunt and cousin, I headed off for a walk along the water front/promenade. It was a very hot and humid day but it was very pleasant along the harbor. I came upon what is probably the best Starbucks location ever, right there on the harbor, with outdoor seating! Friday, May 16, 2008. Wednesday, May 14. Flying home today. Had to leave for the airport at 1pm. Went to the favorite Starbucks one last time. In flight, I saw National Treasure 2 and The Golden Compass. Listed to some music. I couldn't sleep much! Do they every give you entire cans of soda on these flights? These were taken from Cloud 9 at the top of the Grand Hyatt - through the glass, so not exactly the best. The tower shown in the first picture is the Pearl Tower. I'm slowly learning that polaroid-effect is not for every image out there; it is a matter of suck it and see - you can always delete the ones that aren't good. Poladroid is available from www.poladroid.net it's donation ware and definitely worth playing with. Only thing now is to figure out how to get larger print sizes from such a small file.
