An Independent Stammpin' Up! Monday, June 1, 2015. This set, Blooming with Kindness #131961 is being retired by Stampin' Up! This year, I like the simplicity of the flower my favorite however are the words, I like the font they used a fancy script. I used Melon Mambo ink and paper. The embossing folder is called Arrows #132187. I have another variation for my 'next' post. Thanks for stopping by! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chehalis, WA, United States. Crafting with Karen: July 2015
http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Today is a masculine card, I used the Stampin' Up! Wood grain embossing folder (127821) for the background and used the Night of Navy card stock and ink. (100867 paper, 126970 ink). The image is from a stamp set from my friend and fellow stamping enthusiast Jessica. It is a retired set but there are so few masculine sets this would be a 'keeper'. Thanks for stopping by! Sunday, July 12, 2015. July 12th 2015 butterflies away. Thanks for stopping by!

Crafting with Karen: Anniversary
http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2015/08/anniversary.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Sunday, August 2, 2015. This would make a great wedding or anniversary card. Since my husband and I just celebrated our 34th anniversary I thought this was appropriate. The background paper was the special paper from Stampin' Up! At Sale a Bration time, it was white paper with a white image embossed on it, then you add color via a brayer or sponges or spritzer. Very cool paper, and they have a new set of designs in the catalog. Many of the Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!

An Independent Stammpin' Up! Sunday, April 28, 2013. It has been a long time since I have posted anything new on my blog. The good news is that I have been crafting, but obviously not recording my efforts! One of my favorite sets, the Stampin' Up! I worked on this card the last time my sister visited me in March 2013. She was water coloring a picture for me, blue butterflies! Butterflies are my favorite and the blue color is great. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chehalis, WA, United States. Psalm for the Day.

Crafting with Karen: May 2015
http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Saturday, May 30, 2015. It sounds easy, Be Happy! Happy is more than a word, it is feeling, a state of mind, I truly believe that if you make it a point to be Happy, Happiness will find you, or you will find Happiness is your day to day situations. I am not saying that I am always Happy, because I am not, but I do try to put forth the best attitude possible and most days I am Happy, and Happy things are in my line of sight. Oh and Ribbon and Button are present! A pretty quick...

Crafting with Karen: October 2014
http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Friday, October 31, 2014. I do not have many 'holiday' stamps, I have a few Christmas sets, but no Halloween and I don't really send Halloween cards. I like to purchase stamps that are more universal, that an be used over and over and over again. Who is to say it is too many? Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween! Wednesday, October 29, 2014. These cards are more of the cards that I swapped at Bobbie's workshop last month. Time was running...

Crafting with Karen: July 12th 2015 butterflies away
http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-12th-2015-butterflies-away.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Sunday, July 12, 2015. July 12th 2015 butterflies away. Love, Love, Love this butterfly thinlit from Stampin' Up! 137360) This is the largest image and it is almost too big for the standard card. I love the details! The background was done in the boekh (pronounced "bouquet") technique, white ink stamped in circles over the soft background of color. Pearls add the body for the butterfly. I love the colors and this design. Thanks for stopping by! Chehalis, WA, United States.

http://karen-craftingwithkaren.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
An Independent Stammpin' Up! Saturday, November 22, 2014. How can it be that November is almost over? This is the second card that we made at the October Stampin' Up! Card workshop that I held. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy November before it is gone! Thursday, November 20, 2014. Quite a challenge for me to find some...

An Independent Stammpin' Up! Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Off to Sherron's House we go. Getting ready today to go to Sherron's house for stamping and a buffet lunch. This is a card that I made at Sherron's in October.
