We have the luxury of being able to be with her pretty much all day and it’s interesting to see how much she learns from one day to the next – it’s obvious that her little brain is picking up new things every day. Olive – post bath. Olive – post bath. July 21, 2013. Olive got a much-needed bath this afternoon. At least we thought she needed it. She was perfectly happy as a dirty dog. This is her “You’ve got to be kidding me” look post-bath. It will take her a couple of days to get herself dirty the point she feels comfortable again. She’s one week short of 5 months old now. Island Life ». Foggy woods near Colville Point. Foggy woods near Colville Point. July 24, 2013. Fog in the woods heading out to Colville Point yesterday. Colville Point is the far southeast side of Lopez Island, with views to the Olympic Peninsula, Whidbey Island and Fidalgo Island. On a very clear day, to the Olympic Mountains and Mt Rainier. Yesterday wasn’t one of those days, dense fog hugged the shore in the morning hours and all of the foghorn buoys had turned on automatically. Eagles on the Island.
