Saturday, April 17, 2010. Since we decided to homeschool our kids years ago we knew that they would most likely not have a prom to go to. Here in the Roanoke area there is a homeschool group who holds a ball each spring. Cressalyn was able to attend with a couple friends from church. Sunday, September 6, 2009. What Would You Do With $50? A gentleman came into Walmart. This week looking for a birthday card. I directed him to the card section. He told me he was getting a card for his wife of 68 years who is bedridden. She will be 90! He also said he was going to put a $50 bill in the card. At 40 I would probably get scrapbooking. Supplies. Maybe yarn for a baby blanket. Or new sneakers. At 90, I don't know. Audio books? Maybe give it to a grandchild? What would you do?
