http://moussemagazine.it/mangan-chisenhale-london-2015
The Artist as Curator. Nicholas Mangan Ancient Lights at Chisenhale Gallery, London. For your upcoming solo exhibition at Chisenhale Gallery, Ancient Lights, you will be using solar panels to power a film projection. Could you start by explaining how that’s going to work? And how will you ensure that the projection is continual on, say, a cloudy day? The energy generated in this way will then somehow be transferred to the gallery spaces? A huge wire will run all the way down the back side of the building...

Lupo Borgonovo “willow pillow” at Monica De Cardenas, Zuoz / MOUSSE CONTEMPORARY ART MAGAZINE
http://moussemagazine.it/borgonovo-de-cardenas-zuoz
The Artist as Curator. Lupo Borgonovo willow pillow at Monica De Cardenas, Zuoz. The background of willow pillow is the vision of a mythological ship tossed between countless shores as in a Homeric odyssey, where in each region visited, each civilization encountered, the vessel takes on specimens, materials, images, techniques. Therefore the rooms of the gallery can be seen as the holdings of the ship, in which these objects are painstakingly organized by families and types . Michele D’ Aurizio.

The Artist as Curator. Dan Graham A New Work with Curves Project Room by Mieko Meguro at Galleria Massimo Minini, Brescia. Another show with Dan Graham, and in his case as well, forty years have gone by since our first, in 1976. Well, fine, it won’t be exactly forty until next year, but I couldn’t wait to celebrate this milestone anniversary with him, just as we already have with Paolini and Buren. A Japanese artist who lives in New York, and who recently became Dan’s wife. In short, even for someone lik...

The Artist as Curator. José Carlos Martinat SITU #1 at Galeria Leme, Sao Paulo. Galeria Leme has the pleasure to present SITU, curated by Bruno de Almeida. A platform of artistic production and research, the project inquires about the potential of a dialogue between art, architecture and the city, and its possible reverberations and contributions to a broader questioning of contemporary urbanity as a physical-social matrix. To design the first site-specific, SITU invites José Carlos Martinat. Motivated b...

The Artist as Curator. Christoph Keller Grey Magic at Esther Schipper, Berlin. A large-scale mirror installation forms a spiral that unites both rooms of the gallery. Made from more than 130 individual suspended sections that have slight play, the elements align and de-align as coherent presence, showing in turn the mirrored surface on one and the pattern based on Keller’s spiral drawings on their other side. In the second room, enclosed by part of the spiral, a sensorial experiment,. Grey Magic , 2015.
