The Grampians

The Grampians National Park is a popular tourist destination approximately 250km west of Melbourne. At 167,000ha (700,000 acres) it is one of the largest National Parks in the state of Victoria. The site is split into two sections. The big things, such as scenery and landscapes are on the left and the smaller things are on the right. Click on an image to enter its gallery. Cradle Mountain, Tasmania

Cradle Mountain, Tasmania. We visited Cradle Mountain in November of 2001 during a tour of Tasmania. We spent a couple of days at the north end of the Cradle Mt - Lake St Clair National Park. And we were fortunate to have good weather. We walked around Dove Lake, which meets the base of the mountain. Another significant attraction is the 6-8 day overland trail to Lake St Clair, for those with a little energy.

Mount Buffalo National Park. Page 1 - The Gorge Area. On the weekend of December 20th and 21st I tagged along with the ANOS. To Mt Buffalo National Park. This is my photo-diary of the trip. Millers Landing - Wilsons Promontory

Page 1 - Millers Landing. This is a photo-diary of my overnight trip to The Prom. Click on the small images if you want to see the detail in a larger image. Being a fair distance from home (it took me 3.5 hours to drive) I decided to spend the night there, camping at Tidal River. I decided to explore a bit on the north for the first day and do the beached the second. Waxlips orchids were also seen along this track but I saw more later and will show some photos then. Sherbrooke Forest

Sherbrooke Forest is part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park and is important because of its significant areas of cool, temperate rainforest. Its proximity to Melbourne makes it a mecca for tourists on day trips or weekend getaways. This popularity have made some of the native wildlife less fearful of humans, and in some cases they are even quite friendly. Which aggregates records from many sources, such as all the museums across Australia. It also contains records from BowerBird. Where I post photos hoping to get them identified. Probably my favourite place visited. Http:/ places.special.keith.tel. Probably my favourite place visited. I have driven over the Golden Gate Bridge on several occasions. And crossed over to Oakland, and back over the double decker Bay Bridge. Oakland of course is where the Pointer Sisters sang in the Choir at the West Oakland Church of God where their Father and Mother were preachers. So I have been to the City where the Pointer Sisters first started out in the late sixties.
