Plain Catholics: An Introduction. PLAIN CATHOLICS: WHO ARE THEY? Plain Catholics embrace the simplicity of the Gospel and are faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. They go to Mass either Novus Ordo or Tridentine. They practice some form of regular family devotions and prayer life. Many are members of a third or secular order of a religious community like the Lay Carmelites, Lay Dominicans, Secular Franciscans, Oblates of St. Benedict, Cistercian Oblates, etc. By Fr Vincent McNabb.

http://cajuncatholicmother.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

http://cajuncatholicmother.blogspot.com/2010/09/st-therese-and-her-sacrifice-beads.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. St Therese and her Sacrifice beads. This year for our Annual St. Francis Academy Country Craft Fair our family is going to show others how to make "sacrifice beads." These small chaplets are made up of 10 beads, a crucifix, and a medal. Any color pony beads can be used and any medal. We, however. Are going to use St. Therese medals if I can find enough. While showing the children how to make their. Own beads, we are also going to teach them a little about St. Therese.
